A note from SUDAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION: A-WING (Aviation Women Inspiring the Next Generation) is a 501c3 non-profit organization created by experienced female business owners and executives who recognize the need for a group devoted to making this change. Existing aviation organizations continue to experience success in increasing the number of females in more traditional aviation roles: pilots, air traffic controllers, mechanics, etc. A- WING will add to this success by focusing on equality and advancement for female professionals in business roles: aircraft and engine financing, sales and leasing; aircraft and part manufacturing; supply chain; aftermarket parts; MRO; airport design, architecture, and space leasing; and supporting roles in accounting, finance, legal, safety and quality to name a few.
We know that change happens first and foremost through education. Our successful members and supporters will mentor both young women interested in entering the industry and experienced women looking to advance in their careers. We will work with companies to develop internship programs, allowing young women to experience and learn the many ways they can be a part of, and excel in, this exciting industry. We will work with both individuals and companies to achieve a standard of benefits that allow women to thrive in the workplace.
Your contribution will not only help us raise much-needed funds for A-WING, but it will also provide a valuable opportunity for your airline to highlight your commitment to the future of women in aviation, space, and defense.
