$500 Travel Scholarship toward an EF Tour: https://www.eftours.com/ Erik Ripken: CHS Teacher and EF Tour Coordinator This travel scholarship from EF can be used on any of the World History Travel Club trips that take place during the summer of each year. I started the World History Travel Club around eight years ago to enhance the world history curriculum we teach at Centennial and give students a chance to live history and experience the culture of people from all over the world. We have went on travels with various themes such as World War 2 (England, France, Belgium, and Germany), Roman Conquest (Spain, France, Monaco, and Italy), Greek Odyssey (Greece and the Greek Islands), Australia and New Zealand, as well as Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. For the summer of 2023 we are going to Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam and in 2024 we are going to Greece and Italy. For 2025 I am planning an itinerary in Peru to see Machu Picchu as well as spend several days exploring the Amazon Rain Forest. Beyond that, I will always be finding new destinations and visiting old ones as well as get feedback from students as to what interests them. The travel scholarship you are bidding on can be used by students who are already enrolled on the Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam trip as well as the Italy and Greece trip. In addition, it could be used for future trips in 2025 and beyond. This scholarship would take $500 off your payment price.
