Brenda Norwood PTA Online Auction Terms & Conditions Eligibility to Bid To participate in the auction, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts under applicable law. Bidding Window Bids will be accepted only during the designated auction period, as listed on the auction page. Please note: for items with “extended bidding,” the closing time may be automatically extended if a bid is placed within the final 10 minutes. Binding Agreement By placing a bid, you agree to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item if your bid is the highest when the auction closes. The same applies to fixed-price purchases — once you commit to buy, the sale is final. Payment Terms Winning bidders and fixed-price buyers are responsible for paying the full purchase amount, including any applicable sales or use tax and any stated shipping or delivery fees. Final Sale Policy All bids and purchases are final. No exchanges, cancellations, or refunds will be offered unless otherwise specified in the item description or under exceptional circumstances at the seller’s discretion. Tie Bids If two participants place the same maximum bid, the bid that was placed first will take precedence. Accepted Payment Methods All payments must be made using credit or debit cards accepted by our designated payment processor. Item Delivery Items and certificates will be delivered according to the instructions provided in each individual item description. Changes to Auction Items The Brenda Norwood PTA reserves the right to add or remove items from the auction at any time, without prior notice. Item Descriptions and Disclaimers All auction items are offered “as is” and “where is.” While we strive to provide accurate descriptions, we make no warranties regarding the authenticity, origin, condition, or value of any item. Stated values are good-faith estimates and are not guaranteed for tax or appraisal purposes unless otherwise noted. Liability Waiver By registering to bid, you agree to assume all risks associated with the auction and any items purchased. You agree to hold harmless the Brenda Norwood PTA, its officials, volunteers, auctioneers, software provider, and all event sponsors from any liability related to your participation or item use.
